Default Question on Ford Merchandise

Ok guys,

Who here has / wears Ford gear such as hats, shirts, jackets etc and wear do you buy it from?

And lastly, if you currently don't have any would you consider purchasing some?

I recently bought some Ford caps and baby bibs with a retro theme from the local Ford dealer, to give as presents to friends with new born boys to make sure they are raised in the correct manner.

I have a couple of Cobra shirts; a retro style t-shirt one I got through FPV and a Polo style one from the Falcon Cobra Car Club. They are both good shirts that I'm happy to wear when casually attired.

ie jackets for $170 -$250 is just rediculous to me!

gone through multiple hats, got multiple tshirts and polo's
gone through a jacket(killed by angle grinder) and a jacket (shrunk by wash)
got ford pillows, 2X dooner covers and a mink blanket.

and my favorite. ford racing office bucket seat.

kinda sad really. but iv had most of it for a while now. i haven't gotten anything in ages.

all the hats i got from races i went to.
the shirts and other things i got mainly from christmas and birthdays i think.
all good quality. and what iv seen hasn't been ridiculously priced.

I don't agree, I mean they should probably be cheaper but compared to the price of surf ware and sports ware that are all the rage and everyone wants i find most Ford and racing merchandise in general rather well priced.

Other then FPR most stuff up and down merchandise ally at the v8 supercars is resinable. Polos for $50 and Pola Fleece's for $50 - $60 and jackets from $120 - $200.

At clipsal 500 this year they had a Castrol Racing tent selling polos for $25 and Jackets for $80, watches for $20, absolute steal, there was more of that around then anything else on Thursday, Friday.

I get most of my stuff from the races but Ford dealers have access to FPR, FPV, 888, DJR, SBR gear at prices you would pay at the track.

since you stated that FPR was the rip off compared to others..
it was FPRs truck that was at the ford fan day that had all their prices up

I've mostly got 'retro' shirts.. Ones that are either actually from the 70's (thanks dad) or found on the net.

I wanted to steal Minges and/or Whooshas FPV team jackets at the Deca day, The big silver and black ones with the sponsors and the falcon on it... But the feeling of imminent death was lingering if i did :(
And you cant buy them anymore, theres just cheapo looking thin black and orange ones...

DJR gear when he had major sponsor ship from Shell gear i bought from Chrisco (shirt, cap, cooler bag seat, stubbie cooler) a few generic Ford XR8/Racing shirts from KMart, Pueter (?not sure on spelling?) key ring (birthday pressie) a couple of flags from ebay, Lowndesie poster from The Warehouse (one of those $2 shops) which is now personally signed by the man himself got a fair bit of gear actually. my 2 prised possesions though are the lowndes poster and a 12 slotter cap that i got signed by Allan Moffat. the 12 slotter cap i pulled off my XE i was driving at the time needless to say, the cap did NOT go back on the car
