Well, I finally made it down to the local Ford dealer today to pick up my new GT-P. I can’t thank the people at New Oak Ford enough as they did an unbelievable job preparing the car for me, even going to the trouble of getting an FPR outfit for my 10 month old baby boy and a team shirt for my girlfriend. To all the guys and gals, John, Dealer principal, Paul, account manager, Carol, customer relations manager, and everyone else who helped with the car, thanks. I will be posting some more pics in the coming days.
Cheers, Danny

Id have to say silver and black works the best. Im not a falcon person myself but must say it looks the goods. Id be carefull though bout those car washes (can see it in the background) especially on a new car. The hand wash is the best you can do for it. Happy driving.

G'day Danny, your GTP looked very nice when you came around to my place and took me for a spin.Welcome to the GT club and as you said "what an awesome car they are" especially when you press that starter button to hear the roar of the big Boss.
Cheers John

Thanks for all your comments fellas. I’ve just returned home form my first cruise around town and what a buzz this thing is : , although it’s probably not the best thing you could drive around in if you don’t want to be noticed. A funny thing was this young bloke in a VK 6cyl Commode wanted to line me up so I just let him go. It was pretty funny to watch as there was a lot of smoke coming out the back of his car, it was even funnier when I realised nearly all the smoke was coming out the exhaust pipe. :hihi:
It doesn’t take long to get used to the six speed :eclipsee_ . You don’t have to worry about the car wash Mitchay, I only stopped in there to take the photo. Cheers, Danny

Well done Noisy-one,
Mercury Silver still cuts it, I've checked that one out at New Oak, great machine. Just watch those wheels, apparently quite sought after |

YEAH WELL DONE ANY THING YOUR CONCERNED ABOUT FEEL FREE TO PM ME . one thing i'll say is most of my concerns were minor, and the gearbox gets smoother . however check your fuel injector wiring harness on the left side under the plenum cover at the back of the head very sharp edge on head face. mine cut through and caused breakdown.
i saw a silver one with a shaker on it looked mad... the best colour for a shaker. |

Please note; The above post is a joke. I don’t have half a million bucks and will probably never be able to afford a Bentley Continental GT.
Cheers, Danny

Hey Danny , i was going to suggest that we go on a cruise tomorrow but the weather looks a bit ordinary, not the sort of day that you would want to get your GTP dirty lol
Cheers John
