Default leaking radiator fluid (pic attached)

Folks, my trusty LR focus has finally had its first fault.

Leaking radiator fluid, tracked it down to this piece (the hoses connect to the block and run into the side of the engine)

The plastic in it has gone soft - and allows for water to run out and leak.

Does anyone know what this piece is called, before i walk into Repco or Ford and get a stunned look.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like a thermostat housing.

John.

Unsure if they are the same as on TDCI but it looks like my thermostat housing where the thermostat is an intergral part (not sold seperately) and hence the whole thing costs more than you would like to know.

Get the part from overseas if you have the ability to wait for the postage. My Fiat has the same setup (thermo and housing all joined together) and was quoted $260 from a local 'European Specialist'...

I ordered it from a UK supplier direct, was still 60 odd quid.

Thanks guys, yeh thermostat housing (its seperate from the actual thermostat).

Set me back $100 - can someone check their LR focus out and confirm if there is a cable that connects to it? Mine doesn't but checking out on google other people had a cable (electrical) coming out of it.
