Hey hey,
Just wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere on the northside of Brisbane to get a wheel repair done? One of mine has 2 hairline cracks in it. Still deciding if its worth getting fixed or buying a new wheel though cheers

This thread gives a number of wheel repair centres around Australia.
However the cracks don't sound too good, doubt they can be repaired, unless they are just in the paint, not the metal itself. |

yea I was a bit sceptical about it being fixed aswell but the guy at the tyre shop reckns its fixable so I duno, I thought I might look into it.
I just had it checked out today as it was loosing about 5psi a day, being a carpenter I've picked up a few nails before but I couldn't see anything. Dropped it in the tank and bubbles were coming out of the rim. thanks for the link

Yea I'm seeing if I can source a new rim. Have just been reading about rims re-cracking in the same spot once fixed. Maybe they weren't fixed properly I dunno. If i cant get a new one I'll check out depulu.
Cheers
