demand and profit i would imagine. I have a list of prices from jmm years ago and everything has gone up in price in a big way. They have a good rep now so people will pay for it

Not to mention parts required have also risen in price. Lets also take into account general running costs for any business rising over the last few years.
Everything has gone up in price (been grocery shopping lately?), JMM is no different.
