Hi Guys,
Well after deciding against a AU XR8 series 3 i have decided 2 save a lil more and get a BA (hopefully mk 2) xr8 within the next couple of months. So plans so far... remove spoiler, dump it on its *** (lowest legal possible) and put some nice rims (maybe chrome) (min 18") on it... depending on colour of cause. So... here is where i need your help. Oh and also quad exhust and maybe a shaker haha What colour do you think would look best with a set of chrome rims... ? I'm thinking darker... but i have not seen many B series with chrome rims. And i am not 2 sure on what colours did come out... I was thinking blood orange with nice chrome rims... but apparently mk 2 blood orange was not produced. Pics would help, but not a neccessity. |

Shockwave (biased here though). Seen a Blueprint that looks nice with chromes also a Bionic I'd pick the colour you want first, then wheels to suit....I personally like the Blue pearl colour but , unfortunately you can't get an XR in that colour. (Christ....It seems I'm too biased towards the blue colurs and probably not the best person to help you here). When I bought my car in 2004 my preferred colours (based on those available by Ford at that time, and in no particular order) were as follows 1. Mercury Silver 2. Shockwave 3. Lightning Strike 4. Blue Pearl 5. Vixen 6. Silouette Ended up going with Shockwave (ex-wifes preferred colour...and was available immediately off the showroom) although I wanted Mercury...but glad I did because over time have grown to like Wave to the point it is probably the pick of the BA's/BF colurs and I get good comments from both friends and strangers in the street Hope I've helped champ Peter |

Have seen De Ja Vu with chrome rims ... and it looked very nice indeed.
Silhouette looks tops as well (bloody hard to keep immaculate though).
