Hey there
I'm thinking of converting my 302 Cleveland to EFI. I know Holley has a throttle body kit as do MSD. Has anybody used these kits with any success? Will it improve Hp and fuel economy? Are the kits worth it? Just putting the feelers out there in the community before I commit to buying anything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

I’ve set one up on a 308.
Nice starting, good throttle response. You can tune fuel and ignition so that means it will run a bit more efficiently. Won’t make any more power than a carb engine

If its just a weekender i wouldn't bother, a well running carb is perfectly fine and will make just as much power.

I beg to differ. OK, it won't make any more peak power, but low & mid throttle response is much better with EFI, especially on start-up & in cold weather.
If you've lived your life with Holleys & chokes that never work properly, you won't know yourself if you switch to a good EFI system. It makes an older car a pleasure to drive. Dr Terry |
