Anyone know a place in Sydney that does paint protection for a new car and does exceptional work?
Preferably Sutherland area or between there and the city Thanks

Paint protection in terms of a ceramic coating, or PPF (Paint Protection Film)?

This lot use Gtechniq, CSL is the consumer grade coating, Ultra pro-only. Ultra is the more durable, but CSL topped with EXO would offer the slick feeling most are looking for and should give you 3 years, more if you take care of it. https://www.exclusivedetailingco.com/paint

I use Protekt in Clyde. Done all my cars and my GTF looks new 10 years later. PPF to the A Pillar and ceramic coating for the rest of the car. Dave's workmanship is one of the best going around and isn't one of the fly by night operators that will disappear when you need any warranty work (not that I've ever needed it but it's good to know he's there; I've needed warranty work from another mob that went missing).

Applying a coating to paint and trim is a given, but there are a couple of things to consider, depending on your budget or priorities -
- I personally think having the wheels coated is a must, mainly to make cleaning effortless, especially on high dusting Euro brakes. Not so much for the wheel face as they offer easy access to clean, but the barrels in particular. A "wheels off" detail to coat the wheels does add more to the overall cost. - Having the glass coated is handy, just know that longevity on the front windscreen will be limited due to the abrasion of the wipers. I would probably just apply something like the easy to apply Gyeon Quick View as needed. - Never, ever apply a ceramic coating to leather. While most of the coating manufacturers have leather specific coatings, you really don't want to be sealing up leather like a coating does. I also don't like how you can't polish it off like you could with paint. Again, this is something you can address as you maintain the car with a quality leather cleaner and conditioner. Happy to point you in the right direction.
