how could you not do it. "there aint no substitute for cubic inches" you may need a big hammer to get it in and shut the bonnet.

Mmm... seen 351C in EA and it looked neat as a pin so I cant see why 460 shouldnt go in as well.
You might have to modify the sump to get it lower in the chassis though.

Do it, My mate just droped a 514ci BB in his XE Sedan with a 1050 dominator carb, and mate there is nothing like the feeling of getting slammed back in the seat like that. Makes my 351 feel slow now (and its not at 400hp). So as NIKE would say ......

Nothing beats a sleeper like this, keep it under the bonet if you can. My 460 ZJ (running FE LTD sheet metal) runs Hadfield mounts and fits with nothing poking out. MSD bilet dizzy was the only problem, had to cut out a bit of the bonet bracing.

Any 8 in factory 6 clothing is worth it when you look back in the rear view mirror and can see the jaws dropping as the competition mouth :

If bonnet clearance is a problem, just rip out the back seats and mid-mount it!!

Damn, your stealing my project thoughts. Eventually, i want to do a 460BB fit into my au (when it turns into the show car), althought it was gonna be full race prep, fuel injected, ball tearer. and the possibility of a blower if power wasn't enough(Without blower 700hp, with blower 1000+).

But definitly do it man, it'll be one hell of a project, but so much fun at the end

Half the cops wouldn't know the difference, and have no idea what they are looking at!

I had a mate once who always was in trouble with the cops. On one particular occasion, a cop wrote down the engine number for future reference......it was the firing order off the intake manifold!!

yep.

We are a little off topic but I was asked by the cop once what the engine number was, so he could record it, just told him, no checking, easy way to get a 351C into a 66 Mustang registered......
