I think its a good show. I'll watch it every week.

Everyone is harping on about, "Ooooo, bad ch7 for making this show, bla bla bla..."
These people are less dangerous than some D*head p plated doing 90 in a 60zone or thinking they’re a fully sick drifter. The fact is, most of the people in the show will never get their license. And therefore will not do much driving. So in reality, they aren’t much of a risk. In reality, when the show was filmed, they were receiving more driving lessons than they show on TV. One of the Ian Luff driving instructors was also an instructor for the show.

On another note, on of the girls in the red team, Virgilia Nielsen (the hot blonde) is on the show with her boyfriend Darren Appleton, one of the guys in the Toyo Drift Australia Championship. Though I recognised him from somewhere.

Anyhoo, I’ll be watching the show even if you mugs aren’t.

I thought I was a bit nervous going for my Ps but that girl seriously should see a shrink not a licencing center.

These people are way too slow to be alowed to control a ton of steel at 60km/h. I wouldnt trust em around me on a bicycle infact.

Some people weren't born to be drivers, it must run in the family. ;)

Some of the drivers on that show drive better than my mum, no kidding!
I heard an interview on the radio the other day with Mike Whitney, he said that he heard one of them may have already lost their licence from speeding.

Ive seen the ad. They are terrible, if it is for real. I wonder how much of it is set up. I must watch the show this week.

I must be a bit silly, but I just CANNOT understand why it is so hard to learn to drive. What is it that makes it so hard? I know it is a real problem and people do find it hard, but why? Is it nerves? Thinking too much? Or not enough? Is it a lack of spatial awareness? Poor co-ordination? Inability to do more than one thing at once? Lack of basic intelligence?

People like that just should not drive and it is that simple. If you fail that many times, it would appear that you just cannot do it to the level required to be safe.

Seriously how hard can it be to drive a car in this day and age? The physical aspect is damn easy! I could drive better absolutely wasted than these people.

Really gives a new definition of getting your licence "from the bottom of a cereal box", except these stooges have to find the bottom. :

Not good it seems, though I didn't get to see it.

Some of you might recall 'Test Australia'? About knowledge of the road rules.

One host messed up in relation to the "optional' use of flashing your high-beam as an additional signal to lead traffic,- of your intention to overtake.

He termed it as a statement as something that must be done.

Great experts. That show, because of the mistakes broadcast had me steamed, you just couldn't do a damned thing about getting in contact with the hosts to correct the errors. Rem, this related to to the new ARR's at the time. Even after the event, contact was difficult, the producers were virtually invisible. Totally irresponsible.

I tend to stay away from Sydney, but today had occassion to visit, recognised that much by way of driving manner and behaviour needs to be addressed. We do need to raise and remove some restrictions in order to prmote folk to drive better. In time.

Anyhow, might take a peek at this new dose of sad? reality.

I just watched the show after missing it last week. OMFG to say the least, i mean, one of the instructors said that serving in Vietnam is a walk in the park compared to teaching these people how to drive. But what really get me is that they are trying to get them to learn in manuals, some of them dont even know how to indicate correctly and they are confusing them even more by giving them a manual? I would have thought you ge them in an auto with only 2 pedals, and work your way up to a manual vehice

WTF are these people for real? Watched it last night. You could not pay me enough money to be their driving instructor. Even for a stupid amount of money it would be no good to me dead. These learners could kill people and Channel 7 are helping them out for ratings!

Should be a time limit on these things because what makes them think if they fluke the test that they won't bend it first drive out. Lucky I'm insured with people like this on the road.

Sadly, I did watch most of this show last night. These people absolutely terrify me. This show highlights a group of people that should never be let loose on our roads, however, there are many already on the roads that have little more skill than these people.

Amen to that.

There was one sheila that had 500 lessons and had failed three times. Is this a joke? Because if it is, I’m not laughing.

I can’t play the piano, yes it’s true. Yet, if I were to have 500 piano lessons, I think that I would be able to knock out a pretty good tune.

Whoever wins the prize in this pathetic show should take the car straight down to the local Hyundai dealer and swap it for a cheque. They might get two years of taxi rides out of it. Not that I’m a fan of taxis either, but it’s got to be safer for the rest of us. Or they could try and drive it for a few days then have it towed to the wreckers, because my bet is that whoever wins this car, the outcome will be the same.

The wrecking yard. :

Question Why Would Hyundai WANT to Associate With Them ?

I watched it, could not help myself..

Its gotta be staged, really, how can ANYONE be that bad.

If these people are really truly that bad, then I would not let them drive the POTATO PEELER, let alone a motorised machine.

Bunch of tools, who should all be banned from leaving their own homes, for my safety. :

there should be some onus on channel 7 or something. what if, and this is highly likely here, one of those goons kills someone. and they kill them in the free car channel 7 handed them. its kinda like telling your kid "guns are really bad, but you just pull the trigger and it will fire" then giving him a loaded weapon.
