hi i am currently putting a 302 windsor into a 78 model te and have herd that the standard water pump will not fit. i am going to be running an aussie desert cooler alluminium radiator. any info on this would be great.

you can use a castlemaine rod shop conversion
which uses a holden six water pump... |

I got a TE 302w with standard water pump. Outlet in passenger side.

use a water pump off an injected windsor, like an "EB falcon" as they have the short snout on them that I think your after, you'll also have to put a different pully on it as the EB one wont suit.

What State are you in ?, NSW would only allow you to put in a 302 on gas or a 5.0 EFI, not an older 302w on Petrol. (So be careful and check with you rego authority)
I have a 5.0 U.S. spec motor and the pump clears fine. |
