Unsure of which blower the Ford Motorsport kit uses but I have looked at both the Jackson Racing and the Vortech supercharger kits available for the Focus in great detail.
Instead I decided the Focus will never been truely fast and bought an RS2000 for speed instead, the reason why I didn't put a blower on the engine. That and the fact the car still has like 5 yrs warranty on it or something stupid. Tim! |

FYI - A quick search on carsales.com.au shows 5 STs available through dealers around Oz at the mom. Also found a WA dealer that has used pics of an ST in his ad in order to flog a 5 dr auto for $31K ... hmmm.

Haha - dodgy. I was going thru some early press photos from Ford on the Focus, and they have listed a "Zetec with bodykit" which is clearly an ST170, with standard fog lights poorly photoshopped, and lightened to look like blue flame - only you can see the light blue tint over the used-to-be black grill and all. They didn't even change the rims.
Some dodgy dodgy people out there! Tim |

Hi guys, I emailed Ford a couple of years ago regarding ST24 numbers and they replied with a number of 266 bought in. Should try doing the same for the ST170- I just used their contact details on www.ford.com.au.

Hi gang,
I checked our system today and the system says 169. I take that as the official number.

Simpsons quote .... Homer went to krusty school and starts getting free stuff when he is pretending to be krusty. The mafia want to kill him and as he is looking at a new car the mafia do a drive by putting holes into the car Homer is looking at. He asks the dealer what they are and the guy replies " Speed Holes".... so next scene Homer is taking a Pick Axe to his car to get the same look
