My collection is also cheaper stuff ie: Bburago etc. Have a few Muscle Machines and im a huge fan of Road Rats. Gotta love that suede paint and scallops. My first Classic Carllectables is on order. Its the Bill Bourke XW. I have a mix of ol skool caddies, Fords and Chevs and also some with billet wheels which arent my cup of tea. OL' SKOOL RULES in my collection.

There needs to be more street versions of Holdens and Fords I think.

I've always wanted Biante to make a 5L VL Calais, or even a XE Fairmont.

I hve been collecting for about 20 years. I had a room just for my cars, but when the baby came, I lost my room. Now most of my models are in crates :-( A word of advice for new collectors...find a theme and stick to it. I have never been able to stick to one theme and have ended up with a LOT of different cars. Ferraris, BMWs, Fords (general), Escorts, Aussie cars, London Buses, military, police....Now I stick to mainly English Fords and teh odd Mini. There are a lot of companies finally making Escorts but they are not available easily in Australia. Ebay can also be your friend for finding bargains.

I have avoided most 1:18 simply because of the space they take up. I have a few, but have stuck to mainly 1:43 and Matchbox cars. I have sold a few cars recently on ebay to provide funds for more cars.

It is very addictive, but great fun. I never get bored of looking at the models and shifting them about a little.

I think they are releasing either the VK or VL range (cant remeber which but I think it's the VK Brocky or something) soon. Check out their web site. Im pretty sure the Walkinshore (sp?) VL group A plastic fanatastic thingy is available.

It's got me why they didn't do the XD and XE ESPs when they released the Dick Johnson race cars. Case in point, just look above at Ford EB 4.0 collection.

Yeah there's the VL SS Group A (The red one) and VK SS Group A in 1:43 and 1:64 scale, but I already got those. Really rare to buy.

I've had a 1:18 scale Walky for about 3 years now.;)

sorry to be a spoiler but i have all but 1 x series road and race car to date. the one i dont have is the xy ultra white twin mirror. the model shop i have bought all my models from always sets one aside for me regardless. i also have the full to date collections of allan moffat, peter brock, dick johnson and a holden employee monaro too aswell as numerous other bathurst race cars from the group c days to current. i was going to put them all on display but now with 2 very young kids it looks like they will still stay in hiding for a little while longer. and all my models are in 1:18.

theme... ???? NOW they tell me.....

All things Moffat, DJ, Datto, Biante, Webber, Jim Richards, a few team reds, GT-R's, .....I guess my theme is what I like (not into ferrari's, lambo's etc). Must admit most are 1:18 - I'm looking now at 4 cabinets full and about 20 of 1:18's still in boxes.....

The boy has made a point of collecting the Biante Historic car - each year they bring out a "years" model.... and the Trax 1:24 Falcon's - got 'em all...
