The Falcon is regularly covered in ice in the mornings as it spends it's time outside. The Pug gets the cover of the garage, mainly because a) it's newer, and b) I leave for work before the wife does.

Its been minus 1 or so here in Mt Barker the last few mornings. Cars are always iced up if they are not locked up. Thankfully mine is locked up nice and safe.
Last winter we got down to minus 8 at one stage and the heater unit outside spent more time defrosting itself than actually working... and its a BIG unit too. I hate the cold. My lawns are all dead from the frost too. If its not the drought in summer, its the frost in winter! Feel sorry for the poor people in the UK with the floods though!!!!!!!

I was in northern Spain 30 years ago, minus 15 celcius
and we had to put the hair dryer on the door handle to stop our fingers sticking to the ice! Scrape the ice off the screens, water just kept freezing back over! Some folks swim in these temps......! |

Hmmm yes I remember leaving Adelaide in November one year with it being 30 degrees and arriving the next day in Frankfurt where it was minus 20. Massive shock to the system!
I recall, on the way to school over there one morning, my hair not being totally dry after a shower, and then outside, it breaking!

I used to love the ice on the grass as a kid at my grandparents house.. They said it's jack frost and we can't go out in the cold he will get us:P.. It worked we didn't get a cold.
But even in winter i sit at home with shorts.. But i have lost some KG's and feel warmer?? Isn't that in reverse i should be colder:P.

Everyones saying it was cold saturday night, but try being up the snow (falls creek) , now that was cold. Although i was kinda, just a little, drunk at the time so i didn't notice it that much.
But yeah, i'll add it has been colder than usual this year Cheers

When you switch on the news at night and see how the weather is up and down all over the place you just know the world is up the pooper.
