That was great show, a lot more realistic, maybe they should rerun and show them how it's done.

A male friend calls this "soap on a boat" it's the only "nice" thing that can be said about it.........

"Patrol Boat" was excellent...it was mandatory viewing in my house....perhaps because mum liked watching Andrew McFarlane in navy issue white shorts

That was quality ABC drama, the likes which have been few and far between. Janus and Phoenix where also excellent but hey that's another thread.

The URST (un-resolved sexual tension) between Lisa character and Ian character is a long way short of the URST between Maggie and PJ on "heelers"

Am I the only one who thinks 'Nav' is the hotest girl next door on TV right now? She can tell me where to go anytime !!!! :

There is a Sea Patrol drinking game you know

Take a drink for every time the following occurs

They talk into a radio
There is a shot of the propellers
They mention the 'ship/boat'
They mention port, starboard, stern or bow
They use binoculars

...and the list goes on

I enjoyed that spice girl show from LA more.

If Lisa wins a LOGIE for her performance in this show, I don't think I will be able to cope.
Hey whats wrong with Capn Jack Hardness, Torchwood is alright.

Torchwood Rocks! Some people have to higher expectations for TV i think...like everything should be directed by Ridley Scott and star Sean Connery.

It could be worse.

It could have Georgie Parker in it too.

Haven't watched it, won't watch it. I don't even have my own TV anymore, as there is no room in my room for one. I used to have a TV tuner in my computer (it died), but so far there has been little to no incentive for me to actually go buy another one.

The very few TV shows I do watch, I watch via other means.

Oh and I agree with the people who said Water Rats was cool. I loved that show.

I used to love watching the old Patrol Boat series! Was well executed . This sea patrol crap is a waste of valuble air time . I dont see what the fuss is about Lisa McCune. She is Mehhhhh... compared to Dash McKinley (Tasma Walton)

Nav is also way hotter than the other girl !

My Old man served on the Fremantle class patrol boats (HMAS Gladstone) and I went out for a few trips on it and that show is utter rubbish ! I also served in the RAAF so I know a little about the forces .

I realise its a TV show , but jeeze , drama has nothing to do with boring the shyte out of the veiwer !I watched the first show and wont be watching any more !

I watched it twice to give it a go. It was just a bit boring, I thought. I wouldnt really worry about watching it. Ive seen worse on tv though.

I loved Water Rats. I also really like All Saints. I dont think all Aussie stuff is bad and I did like Blue Heelers too. TV is supposed to be a bit unrealistic otherwise it is too boring to watch... so unless you are watching a documentary, expect there to be a bit more crime or a bit more drama than there would be in real life...

Its better than a lot of American rubbish. English stuff is good though, like The Bill for example.

OOOooo yeah...Tasma Walton in uniform was a lovely thing to gaze upon.

She was in a made for TV Movie called "the postcard bandit" that was based on the Brendan Abbott story where she plays his girlfriend...

I highly recommend it for Tasma Walton fans who want to see more of her.........ummm.....acting abilities.

Do you mean craptacula - being an ex "pussa" (served for 20 yrs) I only watch it for a good laugh - I love the way they are told to change course / increase speed and then you see in the backgound that they are not moving.

As some of you have mentioned - bring back Patrol Boat!

I find it entertaining to list all the errors. The next day at work we list all the mistakes we noted to see who has the highest score. No guessing as to what we do for a living.

I think Andrew McFarlane was a sailor in the true sense of the word, didn't he come out of the closet a couple of years ago.

Really ????????

Andrew McFarlane plays for the same team?

My mum will be devastated.....until she realises that instead of sleeping with him she could just go shopping with him.....
