Bah, I was all excited til I read the specs and found out the only similarity to a road car is the body. These are V8 super taxi's in 4WD guise....

Designed from a clean sheet of paper these cars are state of the art and built to meet current FIA safety standards.

The design brief for the cars in the SUVSS was a proper, serious race car designed for the job that visually resembles very closely its road going cousin.

We wanted a powerful, light car that provides what racing and rally drivers call ‘the feeling’.

Most are surprised to learn that these SUV race cars, that weigh over two tonnes as road cars, weigh 1310kg and have over 400hp. And that ‘feeling’ comes from all independent suspension and perfect 50/50 weight balance.

Your safety was also our paramount concern. This is why the main space frame chassis is constructed of larger diameter thicker walled high tensile steel tube than practically any other race car you will find. Put simply, along with the design, it is more impact resistant. And around this space frame are front, rear and side detachable, deformable structures designed to absorb impacts before reaching the chassis. These structures also give the added benefit of restricting damage to the chassis in all but the biggest impacts reducing repair bills and speeding the repair process.

So it's not really a terri at all. Disappointing really.

I saw one of these being built on the gold coast awhile ago the shell is partly terri panels with some of them fibreglass so there is nothing terri in them at all.

Gen 3 motors.
