There are better ways to handles things than what happened in the vid, but we don't know what was being said or what the guy had done before what we see on the vid.

I love it how a lot of the forum members are saying that viloence is wrong, but we get a thread that someone thinks they have been done wrong by and lots of people are telling them to go around and sort it out with violence or illegal ways

If it wasn't for F###wits, the event or any event would not need security, you want to get back at the security industry ?, go out and behave, tell your mates to behave soon there will be no need for them and we'll all be happy

Looks to me that the only difference between going to the pub and summernats is the nats have cars to view, everything else looks similar. Allways a few that ruin it for the rest.

The simple fact is security cant use excessive force in any situation the force has to be the same calibare used against you eg somebody calls you names says your moms something ect. you cant hit him simple the law states that however if somebody throws a punch you can give him one back but if he has stopped after that then you cannot continue i say this because ive done security training and there is no two laws for diffrent people the law is clear when working security you just have to be the bigger man and keep your head no matter what day you've had

To all those painting everyone in the Security Industry with the same brush, Feel like a big man yet?

As for the incident at hand there was no excuse for what those two CROWD CONTROLLERS did, they aren't Security Guards people. The bloke was cleary walking away and the two Crowdies followed him and entered into a confrontation. No excuses for them as they could have averted the situation had they eaten their pride (something you can't have when working an event like that) and let the bloke walk away. If he really had of done something wrong they wouldn't have let his mate take him away at the end as they would have either restrained him until Police arrived or grab an arm each and escort him from the venue.

Guess what I do for a living.

Would have liked to see what came before that. Kicking the guy on the ground is excessive.

I dont know how anyone can condemn what these two CC's did in that vid, two on one, when one was clearly enough, the other one hits him from almost behind, and kicking him on the ground, come on, how can any person here justify that?
People who are defending what these two South seaers done in that vid, clearly needs a hit over the head, like the one in the vid, and see if they still think its appropriate. People have died from much less, and these two have NO authority to use force such as this in ANY circumstance. And as redxr said, they arent security, they are crowdies, they have no authority at all.

Agreed. We all hear the stories about this sorta thing, most of us have seen it first hand, but its not all like that. Just a few idiots that bugger it all up. The ABC ad posted earlier said that they wern't even security. I hope these guys are charged and dealt with accordingly.

Guess what i used to do for a living

I agree with all the comments about organisers and the obvious purpose of the event, promoters pockets.

I cant believe how people who own the vehicles bother going anymore. Yeah yeah, to enjoy and show off the car, I get that much of it.

You probably should have watched it first.

Theres clearly no excuse for it. The dude didnt even put up a fight, so clearly he could have just been held and detained for Police if there was any legit reason for the altercation at all.

Its probably one of the same idiots that throw rubbish at the entrants cars.
Its all irrelevant to the event in question. Throw them out, have them arrested etc. If you watch the clip, the guy doesnt even put up a fight, what happened before is irrelevant and for a court to decide what is appropriate, not the knuckle draqger. This is part of the rule of law, the Rule of Law is what the ANZACS faught for, this is what the flag represents.

We wouldnt tolerate that from Police and rightly so, it is never acceptable, why the hell should it be accepted when perpetrated by someone who has none of the police training or authority.

Please dont anyone bother telling me how much security training there is, it would only show clearly how much you fail to understand what makes this country great, the rule of law. I understand security undergo training, and have laws to govern them, however it is clear far too many get through who only qualify because they have been lucky enough never to have been caught for acting like the tools they are supposed to be securing against. These ones that get through are no better than the tools they deal with. As said, knuckle draggers.

I actually agree with you on that, would change everything and make it about the cars not the grog.

Pretty low act, regardless of what the kid said to the fat coconut heads. Most security guys at summernats are cowboys so it isn't surprising really.
