Question Shipping from UK to AUS

Has anyone here ever bought a car from England or knows of someone that has? Would anyone know an estimate, or a transport company that deals UK to Australia?

It cost me 500 pounds for a vehicle in its own container about two years ago.

Not sure on the company off hand, I'll look at the paperwork this evening.

I nearly brought back a 1.8 turbo diesel Escort van when I came back. I've lost most of the paperwork now but I do have something lying around somewhere. I'll see if I can find it..

what sort of compliance do you need to import the car? Are cars from UK because they are right hand drive easier to get complied?
