Picked up my MK1 today. She needs a fair bit of work but it is the model I wanted. A 4 drs autom with bench seats!! :

Is there a meeting coming up soon around Brissie. Any suggestions where to get parts?
I need tail light surrounding things all rubbers and a bonnet!

I am happy to add photo's but I have no idea how to do this!

Welcome to the forums Dutchy, congrats on the new car. Can't help you with Brisbane info sorry. For rubbers try Scott's Old Auto Rubber, Rare Spares only have 2dr rubbers. For a bonnet you will need to find a secondhand one, although new (reproduction) ones will be available for silly $$$ from the UK.

To add photos you can click on the "Manage Attachments" button on the posting page, there are size restrictions on the photo but a 640x480 pixel size will be ok. The easiest way to resize is from Windows Explorer start to email the photo and it will give the option reduce it for you. When the email window appears save the small version of the photo.

Ah ok, a Cortina - for some reason I had an Escort in mind... In that case Rare Spares do have some rubbers available for those.

One of my dad's mates recently restored a Mk1 GT & is now on the look-out for another body (already has some running gear from a Mk2) because he can't rally the first one as he did too good a job on it!
