I'm currently after above average painters to paint DABOSS in Melbourne can any of you name a few very good car painters that paint and look after your car all at the same time.

I have heard that if you are after a good paintjob it is worth tracking down BMW/MERC authorised painters, due to the expectations of dealers they are are supposed to be good.
NOTE: This is what I have been told, I am not speaking from experience.

I would also love to know of a good painter in Melb if there is any
I'd have to say some painters & beaters out there couldn't tell the difference between a front & rear bar :

I recommend my brother although I'm not sure where he is working at the moment. He is just starting a new job after being a stay at home dad for a few months. Not sure of location but it is probably SE or outer SE suburbs and not sure of workshop (i.e. normal el cheapo smash repairer, or some place better).
He has worked at prestige smash shops working on anything from BMWs and Saabs through to Ferraris, Lambos and Bentleys and is a bit of a perfectionist. Actually he touched up the cars for the Ferrari, Porsche and Bentley stands for the MMS back in the day.

Are you going to look at a clear bra once painted? Easier to replace a film of plastic rather than repaint in future

It is a 3M film - the guy I use is a mobile installer working out of Thomastown but he does excellent work and the cost is reasonable. PM me if you want his details.
Cheers Russ
