this may sound stupid but i heard along the grapevine that you can have diesel and gas as dual fuel is this even possible.

it's not dual fuel as in a choice of diesel or gas, but dual fuel in terms of gas injection. you burn the gas and the diesel as a mix. You use both fuels. the gas increases the octane level. A friend has noted the improved performance in his 100 series landcruiser, where he took out his aux fuel tank and fitted gas. if he runs out of gas he can still use straight diesel.

I believe its a good move on trucks, where with the sheer quantities of diesel they use, the added gas can improve economy

Its been around for a while know, I heard about it about a year ago. A mate on mine has a 03 Diesel Rodo with LPG, its so much quicker know. Gives him more economy too & the LPG tank is only like 20-30 litres..

15-30% extra power and torque for your diesel and the D-Gas system will be going on my Navara in October. So hopefully this system plus a full sports zorst will give the new girl some extra power and save on some diesel costs.
