Ok so 3 wheel studs snapped on my mums left hand front tyre and my dad went to repco and they sold him replacement ones which they said will definitely fit.
guess what! they dont! they seem too big to slot in properly, my dads tried so hard to get them on he managed to thread them is it possible they are the wrong type? i know ea-au1 brakes are different to au2/3 but im not sure in what aspect, could this have affected the wheel studs? or has anyone else had any similar problems? would love to hear from you guys soon cuz my dad is pulling his hair out and if it doesnt get fixed tomorrow my mum will use my car as a shopping trolley while im in the city all day lol

First check that your Dad hasn't damaged the splines in the hub that match the ones on the wheel studs, which prevent them from turning when the wheel nut is tightened or loosened. If these are too badly damaged, you might have to buy a new front bearing hub with the studs already in place. There’s no difference in left or right hand sides with these.
If they look alright then just go down to your closest Ford dealer armed with the build date of your Mum's car and get the correct studs. |

haha! well today my dad went down to ford and guess what.... the genuine ones went straight in! stupid repco! also each store only had 1 in stock so he had to travel to 4 different stores and he cant be bothered harassing each store for his money back lol
and the car is back on the road lucky my dad noticed before my mum had a disaster
