I recall seeing/hearing this car when it was in a Wodonga service station workshop. Was about 20'ish years ago. Owner ran the workshop. Also had a replica Shell logo'd Sierra on display.

I just got back, anybody else make it there. It was a shame to see the XD drop onto seven cylinders when they started it up.

Here is a video I took while I was there. Sorry about the sound quality as the camera can't handle loud noises. I will put some pics up later.

OK here are the pics as promised. The thing I enjoyed most about the XD is it has not been touched and what is planned for it will help keep it original. There was also an XA GT there, the paint was one of the best I have seen.

They had it running earlier and it was sweet then, they think it had a fouled plug.

I made it up there from Brisbane. It was an interesting trip home! Lots of rain and water lying around.

Dan started the car up earlier in the afternoon and it ran fine, but we think that it fouled a plug unfortunately. It was still a good turn up of people despite the weather.

Cheers
John

That is me in the background with my arms folded, looking down at the nice new GT. Green is nice! That XA GT Coupe is a really nice car too.

A big thanks to all who attended last night! It was a good turn out. Hopefully we can keep events like this going. A special thanks to the Bowden's for supplying Pacific Ford with Tru Blu and all our FPV club members for coming along!

Thanks very much for your time and effort with the video.
Even though the 351 was missing on a pot, it sounded awesome on the idle after she warmed up a bit!

Many thanks also to the Bowdens, and Pacific Ford for setting up the opportunity.
