Had an enjoyable day today. Picked up Russ (Jerseyvics) at Gold Coast airport in pooring rain and proceeded to Wintersun at Coolangatta to check out this year's entrants. In the time it took to find a park (about 20 minutes and one km away from the action) the rain eased and after a half hour or so it turned into a typical Gold Coast cloudless winter day with the temperature climbing into the average winter maximum of 21 degrees. (Sorry about that Victorians & Taswegans) LOL

Whats up with the yellow XC coupe,I thought that only pre '74 cars could enter the show. unless someone has put the XC front on a XA or early XB.

The XB GT Coupe brought back some memories I can tell you.....I was 18 at the time.
It was that exact same color scheme too....who ever restored that Coupe did a great job. What an era that was to grow up in.....and AC/DC where having their first hit on the radio waves at that time...Babe please dont go.... Cheers all Last edited by Thankfull; 08-06-2009 at 08:04 AM. |
