Hi all, I am looking at getting into a XR5, and keen to hear any thing nasty about the beast, also if anyone knows about Digital radio, if it is fitted. seeing its Sony it may just be. Cheers

I doubt we'll be seeing digital radio as standard fitment for some time. There's a Pure portable digital radio that goes on your windscreen like a GPS, that's digital, that's the best we'll get for some time I'd reckon. Bit of a shame.

The European Mondeo forum would have more info than we would on this.

Rats, I have had a bit of a google last night and seems that the sony head unit has DAB, in the latest release 2009. So i am hunting it out, but the catch may be the issue of DAB+, there is a difference so it may not work. We had to be different!!!!. I will jump on to the euro forums as suggested, cheers

Interesting, another stick on the window option. Police are already looking at suction devices used for gps as a disruption to vision, another one may push them over the edge. I rang Ford CSC and received a "blank" not sure..
