XR5 front bumper

Hi Focii, would any one have, or know of a second hand front bumper for an XR5, just the plastic, not grille, etc. Preferably in NSW, but not a drama if elsewhere. Any usable condition, and what sort of $$$ you are chasing. Cheers, Mark

Thanks for the offer Tekila, but its a front bumper I be after.

I remember bidding on an orange one a while back that went for about $90.
That's ultimnately what I would like, but not likely again at that price!

Just out of interest, where did you get your chrome fog light surrounds?
Are they they type as used on the Cabrio? or fully chromed?

yeah theyre the type used on the cabrio focus. about $110 each i think from memory. They come with the black honeycomb insert as well as the chrome cover. they make it look so much better in my opinion.

Mate that looks great! Exactly what I have, except I started with a CL with smooth pack. Silver also.

I've got the 17's, got silver door handles, got one black headlight, got both fog lamp bezels in Cabrio (minus chrome) and XR5 style, and a few other interior upgrades, like sunvisor down lights, and rear passenger lamp. Oh, and additional boot lamp and front foot well lamps.

I like the side skirts too. There's a fella here in Sydney selling Focus kits on Ebay, and I dont mind his style.

Anyway, back to this thread. That's the reason I'm looking for a used XR5 bumper,
as I have all the bits to go in to it, just not the the plastic front. If its too expensive to get one, I'll go the Cabrio front end styling. (looking for chrome grille surrounds, upper and lower then too.)

yeah i was going to have a shot at just putting the xr5 Lv model rear bumper on, and then the split dual exhaust. but in the end i didnt want to spend all my money on the focus as most is now going towards my other baby, the F100.

so thats why my rear bar is up for sale. but good luck finding a front end. try over at www.fordxr5turbo.com as they may pop up over there too. they have wrecks all the time.
