For sales figures then they should be out around early April. Personally I am with you and think they look great. My daughter will be looking for a new car soon and I am already checking the sales sites and dealers for a Festy for her. Hugely better looking than a Daewoo Barina.

I guess you are only going to get biased opinions but a trip over to the Fiesta forums may be of some help to you. I found them very knowlegable and helpful.

the better half just got a new WT Fiesta Zetec manual. great little car, great fuel economy and very quiet.

packed with features and seems to be screwed together quite well. my only gripe is there is no spare wheel, not even a temporary spare and they wanted $900 plus gst to supply one.

Exactly. The Holden badge automatically makes it Australian.

I got myself a Russian bride once just for a weekend of sensuous delights. However, customs wouldn't let her in the country and she had to be interviewed.

I stuck a Holden badge on her forehead; problem solved. Walked right through.

Even the customs agents are easily sold...

New Fiesta is hawt. If I had to choose a new shopping trolley it would be one of those or an i30.

As for the Spark...my Mrs who knows a bit about cars but not a lot, saw the ad on TV for the first time and said "wow, that's ugly".

'nuff said.

Hahaha.. gold . If Australia were to become republic, the Holden badge would make a brilliant national flag..

My Mrs has one, bought late last year. It has been a great little car, plenty of power, good features (LX model) and well built. It is roomy enough for short/medium trips with 4 adults on board and still drives along alright. Only issues we have had with it is a large pothole dented a rim and put a bulge in a tyre and the damn thing pings its head off at low rpm high load even when running on 95 octane juice. I'm going to get over to those fiesta forums and investigate it further.

98 SHOULD fix it. Europeans cars don't often like less than 98 and personally, I've been running 98 RON in most cars for about 7 or 8 years.

Agree Zetec, love that 98, wifie uses it in her Titanium Mondeeeee.

(From a standing start, the just supersceded 1.3L Nissan Micra, using either E10 or 95, still outpaces her to 100km/h:-)

I have a wt lx with the powershift trans. It runs fine on 95 with no pinging. The fiesta has been tuned optimaly for 95 so if yours is pinging there must be a tuning problem or you have gotten on to a bad batch of fuel, it can happen.

It looks like an SUV parked on top of a mini. the wheels look tiny and the headlights make it look humongous.

Honestly not a fan of the rear lights on the fiesta, high mount lights look like vomit to me...
