I think for looks the EF-EL are winners over the AU fairmonts. But for the tech thats in the AU over the EF-EL's is worth it. I think the AU fairmonts came with the VCT motor, not the real deal but they make decent power, but interior wise, I think the EF-EL wins again, not a fan of the AU interior. Plus I alos think that the AU fairmoont came out with IRS?? not sure. Good luck tho and welcome to everything fords!

AU is a newer car so therefore 'should' have the more update options available. Basically though they are all as good as each other and all very reliable. I would take an EL and AU for a drive back to back and see which you like best. Price wise AU's are only slightly more in price.

For all other information I would go through the relative threads in their sections and see what others have written.

It purely comes down to personal choice and will only start arguments here on who likes what.

It will be a matter of what you like ........
