It's not a matter of if so many were killed. Motor sports requires the use of bariers. Where's the barrier.....just in case. Safety is NOT about doing something after something goes wromg. Safety is all about doing something in case of accident. If one of those drivers lost the control of their vehicles and speared of into the crowd, someone WOULD have suffered an injury. So, that might mean putting up barriers, or not having the demonstration where crowds can stand right at the edge. That what racetracks were made for. That's why safety has improved at racetracks ... to keep cars away from spectators. That's why there are safety regulations on the streets ... to keep "hoons" away from the public.

Want to drift? Fine. Man up, build a drifter and hit the track where the world can see your skills. Don't e a flamin' dope and risk the safety of inocent people.
