This GT Taxi was spotted in Brunswick, what other unique taxi's have you seen?

Years back, I asked a cabbie why he went for the XR spec, he said the seat bases were stronger and better. I had had a beer, so it was something like that.

That's not as bad as all the jokers I see driving V6 Omega drivers with optics on the front grill.

from what i have heard its a g6 with a gt body kit and it also has the g6 chrome on the boot and bonnet

Saw a XR6 Taxi in Melbourne a few years back and mentioned it to some people at FPV who were very unimpressed as it drags the branding down. I think Ford thought this a few years back and stopped sending cars out in Taxi Yellow?

Ford deleted the taxi pack and the taxi yellow colour back in 2003.

I know it has not been great for the brand, but when I am standing at the airport taxi rank after an 18hour daytrip to SYD or MEL I count the cars coming in hoping the Prius is for the guy behind me and the crappy Toyota van is for the guy in front and the Falcon coming through will be my comfy ride home
