Default Wheel Repair Brisbane

Hey hey,
Just wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere on the northside of Brisbane to get a wheel repair done? One of mine has 2 hairline cracks in it. Still deciding if its worth getting fixed or buying a new wheel though
cheers

This thread gives a number of wheel repair centres around Australia.

However the cracks don't sound too good, doubt they can be repaired, unless they are just in the paint, not the metal itself.

yea I was a bit sceptical about it being fixed aswell but the guy at the tyre shop reckns its fixable so I duno, I thought I might look into it.

I just had it checked out today as it was loosing about 5psi a day, being a carpenter I've picked up a few nails before but I couldn't see anything. Dropped it in the tank and bubbles were coming out of the rim.

thanks for the link

+ 1 for depulu, there is one southside over near Darra just off the ipswich motorway, just up from the Ford place.

most rims ive heard people get ''fixed'' end up stuffed anyway, might be best to get another rim if possible Luke

Yea I'm seeing if I can source a new rim. Have just been reading about rims re-cracking in the same spot once fixed. Maybe they weren't fixed properly I dunno. If i cant get a new one I'll check out depulu.
Cheers
