Hi all,
Can anyone out there tell me if they have w/shields on there MC Wagon 2012 (Titanium) if so ? Where did ya score them from as Ford don't list any for this particular model (Ford website or current brouchure), or do the front from a hatch(same year) happen to fit. Any info most appreciated. Cheers.

Seems they don't do the fronts for the titanium but they do for the others? I wasn't sure that there was a body shape difference between them and that Titanium was just a trim level.
At any rate, they do do weathershields for the mondeo front and rear but they specify that they don't fit titanium models. Maybe someone else here can clear it up for you.

IIRC the Titanium has polised chrome surrounds around the window, unlike the lesser models. The windshield may be either stuck on (probably) or clamped (less likely) onto the window frame, which may not work (or would mark the chrome) on the Titanium models as/if the surface profile is now different after the shiny cover plate on the Titaniums is attached.

As far as I'm aware, there is no body shape difference in the Titanium. You COULD give it a go but whether or not it will stick is a different story. It might also mark your chrome.

The reason being is that the s/man did a bit of homework for me & was talkin to someone at ford (he told he was fairly knowledgeable) said they the reason they're not listed is due to safety features??? So at the moment its a case of wait & see. Cheers.

It's a hatch. I'd say that it not being on the options list is that it blocks some of the chrome trim. When I put them on I lowered it as far as I could and it looks good. I'll get a photo when I go round to his. Actually there will be some on the thread I started called blind side assist in this section of the forum |
