Got a price tag to match...

Might be okay for someone who can't decide whether he wants a Mustang or a Challenger.

I thought it was a new Korean model as Equus is a branch of Hyundai.

Ah I think its pretty awesome. It does look like they have maybe used those new production shells that Ford ok'd, sure that's 90% stang on the out side.

Silly badges aside I think its quite good.

What’s the bet that in about 18-months, the company will no longer be in operation and the website will be down?

I realise the price is out of reach for the majority of us plebs, but how many hand made cars are there available under 500k on the market?

Too all who think this is a ugly copy of cars gone by... to me its like spider baits version of black betty... the same but done way better!

I'd call it more mutilation than imitation.

It's like they drew muscle car elements at random from a hat and slapped them together into a car.

Probably dozens... And 99.9% probably represent better value for money and are better looking.

I think that one of the things that some people may not realise is what $300,000 will actually buy you over in the states.

I fully understand that these are not muscle cars, but here’s a general idea.

2013 Ferrari 458 Italia - $299,900

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 - $225,150

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

2013 McLaren MP4-12C Spider - $298,447

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

2014 Nissan GT-R Premium - $116,995

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S - $189,025

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

2014 Maserati GranTurismo MC - $166,680

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

2013 Lotus Evora S - $96,580

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

2012 Aston Martin V12 Vantage - $199,252. Last year's model, but still only 48 miles on the clock.

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

Now for a few muscle cars.

2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 - $53,985

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

2013 Dodge SRT Viper GTS - $149,995

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

2013 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 - $124,796

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

This is just a very quick cross section of cars and the prices that they are advertised for. Keep in mind that the USA is going through some very difficult economic times at the moment, so like with anything, and more than ever before, it’s a buyer’s market.

The Equus - Bass may be a very well built bespoke car, however, it would probably get a little annoying every time you stop somewhere having to explain to everyone that it’s not actually a Mustang with a few custom bits on it.

Each to their own, I guess.

And the price of something being unique? There is enough people in the us that if they sell a handfull then thats ok. Dont know why everyone is jumping up and down, unless you invested with them.
