Yes debate maybe but you sound like a broken record. How long ago was it you went and looked a VE Calais and said how much better it was then your BFII?
Dash GT,
Looks like you're sick of letting morons go through to the keeper. I have been on this forums since 2004 and let me just say for every member that's is a human, there are 10 that are just nowhere on this forum.

Why do you bother posting on these forums? Secondly why have you not bought a new car? You have been talking about it for years and wasting dealerships time.

This kind of stuff is boring! My local Ford dealer is full to the chop of new cars, even your hated Falcon! They have a number of them!
any colour in particular you want us to look out for

drove past Holdens yesterday, heap of HSV's ready head out for Clayton

looking all gumby in their dummy rims and bars ftw

The comment earlier on about phones being illegal to use is a good one.

Where does the law stand about using touchscreens in cars? Surely they are just as distracting as phones?

Or get something with a real engine, one without spark plugs.

Apps have been in car for probably a good 30 years, it's just that no one called it that before smartphones. Your trip computer, it's an app!

This is simply music streaming over the Internet. Just like the other app that everybody already has called FM radio!
If your going to bag this stuff out at least try to educate your self before you do.

This is a simple case of marketing coming up with a way to sell a feature which applies to the younger demographic.

Agree on this

Can be just as distracting as using a mobile.

Was reading some stats in racq mag....they say most new tech gadgets like connectivity and music applications are targeted at women.
Now I'm not sexist by a looong way but all these gagjets are seriously the laaaast thing most females need distracting them when they're allready driving something they don't understand, respect or even care much about...let alone how to drive the thing. FACT
Women statistically are terrible drivers....don't believe me.....COUNT hom many times a female cuts you of,no blinkers, swerves or other dangerous driving.
I've said this before but my wife and I have been counting for years now......it's not looking pretty for the girls let me say that

But let's squeeze some more apps in these cars

Does anybody actually use the apps in these cars? I removed them from the Mylink homescreen the day I got the car, they're of no use to me. But they're treating them like a big deal. The first Holden salesman I spoke to wouldn't shut up about these amazing apps, they were his only selling point for the car. "This is going to blow your mind" were his words, then the system wouldn't pair with his phone, solid effort. They're trying to appeal to generation Y, the iPhone generation, so instead of killing themselves behind the wheel while texting (as they tend to do), they now have the option to kill themselves while playing with Pandora on a touch screen.

They appeal to alot to female drivers.
Its a good idea and had ford and holden realised that selling to women was a good idea the falcon and commodore could of lived on.
Car enthusiasts who resist stuff like apps are well and truly the minority these days.

What's this whole only appeals to female thing going on? This kinda stuff is what appeals to me.

To be on my list:

Car has to have gadgets and a bangin stereo

Has to have some balls

Prferably manual

I might have boobs but they're not the right shape.
