Not correct.
They removed $1,990 from his backside and he responded: "I wasn't feeling too grand". I worked in a bank in the early 1980s and had to deal with a lady who wanted to exchange $600 that had been in her husband's wallet when he died. The only problem was it took them six weeks to find him. She sealed it in a bag, signed a Stat Dec confirming the amount there and sent it off to the Reserve Bank. She got a cheque from them about six weeks later. I still want to recycle my dinner at the memory of the smell.

I took my VF in recently to the dealership for it's first inspection and I left an envelope with $1100 in the drivers seat rear pocket. They had to work on the drivers seat to install some new clip. I just remembered I left the money in there this morning and low and behold, all the money was still there! Lucky I think!

Makes you wonder how the cavity search actually came about? I know drugs were found in the car etc, but do they normally do cavity searches?
That aside, I shudder to think where the guy keeps his ATM card! Cheers Col

Might not be much to you, but $1000 is a lot of money for some of us.

A friend told me he was lying down once and young son jokingly (he thought it was funny), lobbed $2 coin to him. He didnt know what he did, jumped up and the end result was $2 coin slid straight down throat. Best medical advice he got, was just make sure it comes out ( and there really is only one way to be sure that it comes out). Sure enough, a few days later, it came out, gave it awash (said it was well corroded), and put it aside, but lost it not long after.
I am sure once we become a cashless society, hospital admissions will drop in half. |
