Hi I'm Dale I'm a long time lurker first time poster to these forums, I have a 240 Mk2 Cortina that I would like to get registered, VicRoads isn't happy with the receipt I have for the vehicle, because it has no information on previous Rego, also the VIN doesn't show up on their system. I just emailed the previous owner asking if he knew the original Rego numbers, but I only have until Tuesday to get the info before my Rego appointment. I know this post is a long shot but I really need to find out, so hears a few pictures of the car in question, to hopefully jog somebody's memories.
The car had no interior when I bought it, apart from the red door cards and hoodliner it had a bolt together aluminium roll cage a saas race seat and a red cortina passenger seat. |

Hi Dale. Its Glenn. Try posting on the Historic Racing Register. The guy who did most of the race prep for the car was associated with them. He contacted me when I advertised it on ebay. Didn't get a name or number but I can send you some more pics of the car in Race spec if that jogs someone's memory.
You could also try the Mk 1 Cortina club. |

I'm not able to join that site, or post on their forums. Last edited by dasle321; 13-12-2014 at 06:00 PM. |
