even though im biased because I own one, I still prefer the 93-02 Camaro with some big horsepower behind it over the new shape. the only thing I would literally swap this for is maybe a new Vette or La-Ferrari or something simlarly exotic

The pull of a new model, funny when the new mustang looks worse that the previous 2 models.
The Camaro beat the mustang every year previously.

Will be interesting to see.

If you are going to have a shot at someone who obviously took your comment in fair play and posted back, you should at least be accurate in your own postings.

You must have gotten those figures out of your bum as they are not even close to accurate.

April year to date figures as a percentage of the same time last year are Camaro (-23.6), Mustang (+81.5) & Challenger (+12.0).

The Camaro is in run out mode and the sixth generation Mustang is enjoying new release sales.

The real sales fight starts when the new Camaro hits the market.

In recent years Camaro has consistently won that battle.

Who says you haven't pulled your figures from ya own bum

I got my figures from a reputable Mustang forum...
http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22309

So going by your theory when the current Camaro was beating the old S197 that wasn't a real sales fight... cool

The reason the Camaro originally got canned was because the Mustang had smashed it for so many years GM decided to end it. And then only once demand had built back up they returned it.

ZL1 at the 'ring
1LE at the 'ring

I'd still prefer the equivalent Mustang. Ultimately the GT350.

I dont know where they are going to evolve to from here regarding styling, theres only so much squint you can put into headlights.

Two pretty cool cars though, the 4 cylinder versions are even having their own war.

The Camaro looks great! Not so sure about inside though, but good on em for trying something different.

Such a shame they aren't coming to Australia. Will be interesting to see which company has made the right move.
