A 720hp, 2550hp car doesn't do a 170Mph trap speed either. That would be over 950hp according to my Moroso scale, or with 720hp it would do 154Mph. Still fast but gives more doubt to the rest of the article.

What do those Dodge Hellcats do, I thought one was doing 11's....this thing should slaughter that so sub 10 isn't completely crazy?

The LaFerrari and McLaren P1 run 9.4-9.8 at roughly 150 mph. The McLaren has 903 hp and weighs 1550kg/3400lb, the Ferrari is a little heavier and has a little more power.
I'd be surprised to see the Ford at 1150kg. |

They also have heavy AWD/Hybrid systems, the Ford doesnt. The race cars will be around the 1200kg mark either way.
