Is it really all that hard, how is it anything affiliated with Ford over the past 15 years goes so wrong.
Do these people do any research or do they sit around high fiving each other.

Lol @ people saying leave tickford alone because the falcon is dead.
-First Tickford project in Australia was a Capri -Among the last was a Mustang. Tickfords heritage lies beyond the Falcon. I forgot how hard to please Ford fans are...

Falcon is what Tickford is widely known for, because that's what they produced the most. And so these were the bread and butter of the company. Other models were the meat. Having Tickford without the Falcon is like your sandwhich with no bread...... I don't think a piece of meat (that's supposed to go on bread) slapped on the plate is a sandwhich, is it? I mean how many people would love a 2016/17 Tickford XR8 Falcon? Like this post if you agree.

The company has to do what it thinks is right, marketing and all. But I just CANNOT get used to their new FUGLY (IMO) badge. I'd like to know what market research they did to come to the conclusion on the badge. Or am I just too old fashioned and resistant to change???

It looks pretty good in the flesh.
The Tickford writing on the tailgate is actually badging, not stickers.

[QUOTE=Windsor220;5782555]Mustang revealed at Bathurst
http://www.motoring.com.au/tickford-...thurst-104142/ Now this is more like it, 351kw is a pretty good figure as well. 295's at the back, is that the standard width on the Mustang GT? |

I might be in the minority here, but I like everything I'm seeing so far. I'd love a Ranger, specced up in that smoke grey colour. The Mustang also excites me a lot. 295s on the rear!
What I'd really love to see is a Miami dumped in our Aussie stang. Surely Tickford could build low-volume engines to EuroV spec? Not a lot of R&D required - it's a fantastic base, would just require an intercooler. |

Not a truer word has been spoken. Does not matter what we get some bloke driving a $300 shagged out EB wagon will be complaining that it's not good enough.

The Tickford Falcons will always be remembered and revered, doubt these ever will be... Just happy they didn't soil the RS name plate on them.

Tickford goes back to Aston Martin and beyond.
Prodrive most likely don't have the right to the emblem or just felt it needed a refresh. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tickford

Dare say like TVE, FTE, FPV, FPR etc...the "old" Tickford logo is most likely property of Ford given the previous ventures were joint owned by Ford.
Something inside me wants to see "FTR" make a comeback though.

Dear Tickford, any chance you could grab some unused Barra toolings and make an XR6T Tickford Mustang?

The two utes in the picture were parked in Bowral this morning at about 7:00am. Both with Victorian rego. They certainly have a very "In your face" look to them.
