These will be all foreign to most of you, life in another era lol.

A medley of Jim Reeves songs whilst waiting for the service to begin,
Distant Drums
Danny Boy
I fall to pieces
He'll have to go

And when the coffin is being taken from the chapel, I want them to play 'WIPEOUT' by the Ventures, just to bring everyone out of their solemn mood and then go and get on the p!ss and have a good long wake.

Young friend of ours who passed away 3 years ago at age 21 after a long fight with leukemia and after already having had one bone marrow transplant, went into remission, approx 12 mths on had a relapse, was lying on his bed casually talking to his mum and asked her that if he died would she play"Highway to hell" at his funeral, her reply "was not on your bloody life!"
That one recollection turned a very sad gathering to one where i think everyone had a smile on their face.
That was just the way he was.
