AC/DC? Hard to what a bad one is, as there really aren't any ordinary songs.
I agree, I'd list a page full.

Yes, I agree as well. They sounded just as good live as they do on their albums. Some bands sound good on their album but ИИИИ when they play live.

My only disappointment was that they didn't play Harlequin Forest, I love that song

yeah was a fine show overall last nite, new songs sounded tight. Great to see some old numbers from both Orchid & MAYH albums. Once again, they left out the uber epics from Morningrise LP. Minor gripes with sound...took 'em 20 mins to turn up both guitars and took em a further 30 mins to turn up Peters so we could here his leads!!!. Stand in drummer from Witchery IMO is even better than Lopez...great! The Eternal suck..boring...if they played just one Cryptal Darkness track I may have forgiven them.

The R+ song is spelt Feuer Frei. but Everyone gets thier songs wrong.
That thing about Jim Carrey is true. A mate met him at a casino in Vegas (the sands?) and asked him and he said Hammer Smashed Face is one of his favourite albums!!

Yeah, once again, Opeth were very impressive. We got a cool setlist that differed from the first night, including Moonlapse Vertigo and The Night and the Silent Water which are rare songs for them to play live indeed! They also played Credence and finished with Demon of the Fall, otherwise the other songs were repeated from the other night.

SIMPLY AMAZING!

the Amen Corner
the Baying of the Hounds

Under the weeping moon
the Grand Conjuration
the Leper Affinity

Soldier of Fortune by Deep Purple

Deliverance

Bloody HEAVY set list!!! i would have preffered some more from Blackwater Park, but it was an awesome set!

the crush in the pit was the worst i have ever been in. i had to leave after 'the baying of the hounds' because it was getting to the point where i was struggling to breathe...
i guess that partly came from the fact that i'd had 3 litres of goon followed by a few tinnys of carlton draught. :

i was hanging around the back and tried to get back into the pit, but noone would let me :

i then went and hung out at the back and then saw 2 of my friends in the sick bay, one was on the barricade and she passed out and the other was getting headspins :

but i must say Opeth were flawless and the sound at the venue was AWESOME in the pit and up the back.

and if they do fail as muso's at least Mike Akerfeldt would be able to continue on as a Stand up comedian. funny bastard to say the least.

I'm not sure Opeth know how to play a bad gig. They might visit bad venues with bad sound (like Milwaukee Metalfest 2000) but they never fail to put on an awesome show. Did they did the riff quiz in Sydney as well? Michael is quite the comedian. Opeth, the Poison (ie, 80s glam band) of the death metal world...hahaha.
