So for 9034 you have a choice of two, one for tub/body vehicle and one for tray/cab chassis vehicles, which one do you need?

As for the vent hose, no part number, looks like part of the tank only. Still available though.

Surprisingly reasonable on the filler tube. I have a fuel smell on hot days and I need to take it apart to first to see if that hose is bad. Doesn’t look it from the outside but never know. Will be in touch if I need it.

Hi GT. Are you able to confirm FG doors are the same part for Sedan and Ute? Pretty sure just the outer trim is different but the door shell is the same.

Thanks GT

Ps. was fitted with a premium ICC possibly S/Z and it does have the connection for the sunlight sensor. so i'm 'presuming' High class?.

The catalogue unfortunately does not drill down to the exact loom for that VIN, it gives a choice of three options.

The pic of the part number you have are for cars with:

WIRING ASSY - INSTRUMENT PANEL, WITH AUDIO PEP PACK (4 DOOR SALOON, FAIRMONT/XR, LESS NAVIGATION SYSTEM OR GT/GT-P)

The other two choices are:

WIRING ASSY - INSTRUMENT PANEL, LESS AUDIO PEP PACK (4 DOOR SALOON, XR, LESS NAVIGATION SYSTEM)

or

WIRING ASSY - INSTRUMENT PANEL, WITH AUDIO PEP PACK, WITH CORNERING LAMP (4 DOOR SALOON, XT/FUTURA/XR/FAIRMONT, WITH NAVIGATION SYSTEM OR GT/GT-P OR F6)

as i'm pretty sure the cornering lights won't fit the XR front. it def had the premium sound & the sunlight sensor wiring [altho taped up under dash] & rear parcel cover ....... but that 'may have' been retro fitted .... who knows.

thanks for the reply.

Hi mate,

Should be able to get one, Warm Charcoal for $100 plus postage. If its Cashmere colour, then we need to do some searching.

It does not come with a lock. If you need a lock also, that is $35 extra.

Happy to organise for you if need be.

I don't suppose they still make OEM brake master cylinders for AU's?

Specifically 2002 AU3 XR8 manual if there's any difference

There are around 6 different brake Master Cylinders in the AU/AU3 range, unfortunately no longer available from Ford.

You may find some at some brake specialists as they were made by PBR.

G'day GT,

I was replacing the brake light and indicator light on the rear of the AU2 tail light assembly.

Ford AU2 6 Cylinder Year 2000 sedan.

I noticed one of the bulb holders that twists onto the tail light to secure it has one of the locking piece broken off.

Are these still available?

If not are there any other types that would be suitable?

Thanks

Original was ER13N454A, no longer available. Aussieblue has the aftermarket ones covered!

Thanks for the offer mate. I’ve ended up gambling with a second hand glove box with latch off eBay. It looks fine and was $80 delivered so hopefully that turns up soon and does the job. If not I’ll be back in touch.

Hi GTLegend,

I was wondering if there is any new stock floating around for a BF Handbrake cover in black? I'd also look at taking a leather one depending on what's available.

Thanks

Hi mate,

There were 5 different hand brake covers on BA/BF's, unfortunately none available through parts, you will need to search on line in the usual places but the below may be of help.

BA2760B1: Warm Charcoal Vinyl

BA2760B6D: Dark Stone Vinyl

BA2760F1: Warm Charcoal Leather

BA2760F6D: Dark Stone Leather

BA2760C1: Black Bench Seat

Thanks so much for checking. I’ll start searching for a good second hand one, I was hopeful there might be a new one out there somewhere.
