A fantastic day in Sydney today. Low twenties, cool breeze and low humidity. It was like Autumn.

I reckon summer has been broken. The change that came through over the weekend was effectively the change in season. Sumer is gone and autumn is here. The mornings are cooler and mid to high 20s for a little while.

That's not to say we won't have the occasional warm day here and there of course, just as is forecast this weekend, but the days of consecutive warm (mid to high 30s) days and nights is gone for this year, IMHO.

Was down to only 5 during the night last night. Actually had to put the jumper on at work.

Really hope it’s true! I remember a hot spell in SA through the 2013-14 summer, landed in Adelaide the day after it broke - maybe 26th February? Could feel the heat cooking off the city buildings despite constant rain/drizzle.

Got a shedload to do in Ganmain once it cools.

In southern WA the significant rain since Sept- Oct is usually in March the following year. It appears to be no different this year.
Increasingly the concern should be wild fires, particularly in Perth, where the daytime prevailing wind is warm to hot dry flow from the east.

I tend to smell the change in season, the last two days have certainly smelt like Autumn, which makes me very happy. I had a large hedge to trim this morning, was so nice to work without ending up covered in sweat.

Nah, maybe for you, country is still super dry and hot between the NSW southern Highlands and the Victorian border.
Basically anywhere on the inside of the Great Divide.

yep temps drop of late here in Syd as CB would agree and enjoy.
Don't like it already haha
Mid 20's through the days ahead low teens over night.
I sympathise with for the regional dwellers, always never enough rain or other challenges.
