Anyone read the muscle car shootout in AMC mag ?
If not here's a scan of the muscle car shoot out results. Its good to see a few Fords (Au's as well !!!) making the top ten. I'll post the link to the scan as I think the pic may show up a bit too big for dial up users.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...quarterrun.jpg For anyone that's keen on Australian Muscle cars, the mag is a good read. Now go out and buy it. *Disclaimer : I am not an AMC employee*

Firefox 7 has a thread on that going already. Not bad for the hated but kick **** AU. Tickford section I believe it's in.

My decision was based on it not being a solely Tickford related article.
I am quite happy however that the Tickford cars did as good as they did tho :Reverend: I reckon that would have been an awesome day to attend.

Those BA11 GT times are pretty slow, i thought people were breaking into the high 13's in stock form? Maybe i imagined it! They're certainly getting good times outta everything else
Looks like it would be a good read though! -Stu |

When new I remember a read saying the BA GT1 had done at 13.9 before.
After some km's under their they should definately be able to do better than that. I haven't yet read the article so can only assume it came down to driver skills.

Yeah the BA GT was brand new with 1500km on the clock apparently. Also a lot of the older cars were being eased off the line for preservation's sake.
