Have you contacted Mick Webb, maybe he can help you out. He still may remember the options or put you on to someone else who might.

There were certainly NA SVO's, dont know about ZL.
Although there are heaps of XF's running around with SVO stuff, but I dont think they are the "full house" versions like EA and onwards.

I can't say I've heard of a ZL Fairlane SVO... if legit it'd be quite rare...
He did do NA/NC Fairlanes, alongside with the EA/EB Falcons.

there certainly was a zl svo, i have since found out that the one i have is build 11 of 17,they were built during the lead up to the na,they are all Paint Z,stark white over thunder grey, svo badges in front gaurd moulds and left rear of boot lid, aerotech seats upholstered in original failane cloth with mesh headrest, carbon fibre replica steering wheel [momo],formula tinted glass, led brake light mid mounted on boot lid,2" lowered suspension,21/2" exhaust, colour coded mirrors,16" grey svo wheels with 235/45 goodyear tyres allround, electric windows and mirrors,cruise,c/lock rhino keyless entry,
pump up lumbre support in drivers seat, some had a re mapped computer but not mine. i was hoping to find someone else who might have one not criticism... FOR ALL THE SCEPTICS PICS WILL BE UPLOADED IN A FEW DAYS AND THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN A PART OF MY FAMILY SINCE 1989 ..it was purchased from a ceo of a sales company with all verification but the paperwork was lost during a move about ten years ago.. speedo read 67,827 km when purchased and since then it read 385,765km .....cheers to all |

Theres an NA SVO fairlane going around my town too. Also white over grey, but has the spoke rims off an EB2 Ghia. Havent had the op for a close look, but unless its a mock-up they're definitly out there.

It's been a few days and still nothing.
Sounds like some1 has just done the common X-series mod's and then sold it to you(r) family. |

thx 73 tc as we both know they were produced and i joined this forum hoping to find someone else who had one ,but because i havent had time to upload pics because i work 7 days and have five kids some time is not sumthing i have a lot of,when i find some good pics of it b4 i started the resto. but i still dont think this would be enough for some...and i am not sure why some one would go to the trouble of making false documents to prove such a thing if it was made outa x model bits and why 16 other people would have done the same thing as i now know that were only 17 built..........

in 1987 no they did not but the vehicle can be traced through vin number, this i have recently found out..the car in questin was released to Mick Webbs Special Vehicle Operations in oct 1987,and released to previous owner on the 23 november 1987 with a 10,800 dollar package included in my description above...this info i did not know until the day after i joined this forum when i received it in the mail after being in touch with lots of ford and x svo employees...

[QUOTE=RedXR347]Always sceptic isn't there. For some reason I don't think someone would do the common X series mods as you call them considering this car was bought by his family in 1989 as he stated. Just because he doesn't live on the forums like some people doesn't mean he is not legit. By the way to know so much you obviously have some inside info on what cars SVO did and didn't do, either that or you are just another big talking kid yet to grow into their size 3 shoes.[/QUOTE** THANKS Red xr i dont talk on these things as i am a 36 year old self employed mechanic and i deal with difficult people every day so i dont need it at night as well, cheers
