For under 200, that's ok.

This machine is really only good for office stuff. I would not try to play anything high-powered.

For a web browser, pre - xp revolution ( utilities not OS )
i think its a good cheap system.

you only need the turbocharged ninja machines for gaming or high quality rendering.

Yes it's an excellent price but update the bios and put in a new hard drive, be like brand new after that.

as mentioned, good work for the price, hell the monitor would be $99 of the price.

just go and pick up an 80gb hdd for cheap to save all your work though. 20gb hdd will be full and fall over within a few weeks

Got two of them for $320 The other P/C is a GX260
I hope to upgrade them if it can be done...
Yes I figure the LCD is "almost" worth the price...
Now I get my laptop back....

I've got a GX260 at home - a freebie from work. Definitely update the BIOS and put in bigger RAM - but forget about running too many cards in there. If you have the slimline model, they have a proprietary power supply that's fairly weak. I found, when I was trying to run an AGP card and a TV Tuner card at the same time, with 2 hard drives....the system becomes a little unstable. So keep it fairly simple is my advice - Unless its a tower and you CAN upgrade the power supply.

Price seems okish. I have a HP D530 SFF which I resurrected after it was binned at work due to bung PSU and being out of warranty. I put in a 40 GB HDD, fixed the PSU and it runs nicely as my day-to-day rig for browsing the net/checking mail... my gaming PC is too loud to run all the time and sometimes I need quiet!!
