42 is very early to check out.

It also sounds like he had a massive falling out with Telstra, which, no doubt, would have been a very stressful time for him.

thats a shock, wasnt expecting that this morning, especially considering the bloke looked really healthy. I think this shows how short life can really be, RIP Crazy John.

Sad news he was a good bloke who looked after not only his higher end staff but his loyal lower end staff aswell.

Richmond footy Club would be devastated right now, pottentialy losing millions and its richest holder...

From a different angle just shows you what can happen at a young age and you wouldnt catch me putting away a Cobra till I am 50+ to make couple of bucks and risk not enjoying it at all (not that crazy did)...Need to enjoy life while you can...A dollar is only good if you use it to enjoy...

He was only on TV last night, A Current Affair or Today Tonight, cant remember which one, he was talking about his life and how he made his fortune etc, showed his big mansion, lovely wife and four young kids, seemed to have it all........and today he's dead!!

All that wealth and success .........(and all the pressure that goes with it), I really do feel sorry for his young kids, father dead at 42, terrible stuff.

Yes Guys , it is a Shock , Condolances to his family & Friends .

Maybe there's a "Lesson to be learnt" here !

Look after yourself , healthwise , Or , Live every day to the "Max" .

When I was 27 I was attending a "Heart Clinic" top floor of Parramatta Hospital , I thought I was the youngest to be in a place like that . Then in came a 21 y/o , he had a Heart Attack on the Football Field .

Don't get Spooked , but it doesn't hurt to get checked out .

Gotta feel for his family, a very generous and top bloke by all accounts, struggled from nothing to multi millionaire, and treasured his young family

Goes to show how crucial regular health checkups are- he kept fit and healthy but most likely didn't know what was lurking inside

Then you haven't seen the new ANZ commercial.

But really, you're right, which is why we need to make the most of life while we have it because anything can happen.

Like I always say to my Mrs (who nags me to excersise) it's not good for you.

Yep he seemed like a nice genuine bloke who made a go of life, just a shame he didn't get to enjoy more of it.

Live for the day.

I was pretty shaken by this news when I heard it. I saw his story on tele a while back and he was an inspiration. Being in the phone game and suffered a heart attack myself at 37 years old makes me feel extremely lucky. In the same breath
my deepest sympathies go out to his family.
We are all dust in the wind. :
