The panel Vans had the same diff ratio's 3.54.1 as my 2ltre sundowner had and what the no's are telling me that you have posted. I removed a couple of diffs of the little 1.6 powered vans and they were all 3.77. Maybe the MK1 1.3 litre Vans might have had the 4.11 in them

My 1600E came with a 3.89:1
replaced it with a 1300's 4.11's

Why don't you raise the car and rotate the tailshaft untill you have one full revoltion on the wheel, (make sure that both wheels turn or you'll be WAY out)

Early (upto 1977) Mk 2 1300 vans had 4.125, but most of them were pillaged over the years. I've owned 9 Escort panel vans and I reckon all but one had the original diff centre.

If its the original centre to match that tag its a 3.54:1 ratio as the tag states.
