you would be able to put that tip on it I'm sure, I know what you are saying, the exhaust tip is hidden on Fiesta. Just go in and see your local exhaust centre and see what they can do for you! I saw a beetle with this tip. For a chick, its pretty cool looking. Maybe your dealer can't point you in the right direction?

Is the current exhaust tip on the Fez angled towards the road? Because that's how it is on the Focus. Annoying, yes, but the easiest way to do it is to get someone to angle grind off the bend exhaust pipe, weld a new section of straight pipe (2" I think :S) onto the existing exhaust pipe, then slide your exhaust tip over the top of it. However this might infringe on the rear bumper on the Fez. Depends on how much clearance you can get from the straight pipe to the bumper. Measure it before you do anything to see whether if you put a straight pipe in, whether it's going to hit the bumper. If it won't, you're in the clear, if it will, you would probably need to either get a body kit, or to have a semi-circle cut out of the bumper. Could be a case of something simple turned extremely difficult (and expensive )

Just put the new tip on the std exhaust, at least then you couldn't see it
J/k. :

Definitly go see an exhaust shop, they'll be able to sort you out

Hey Fez_chic

Congrats!! They are a fantastic car..... but from one chick to another........ don't put the tip on it!

I laughed yesterday - there's a bloke who owns a blue XR4 in the place down the end of my street at work. Had seen it there for a while but never saw the driver... he pulled up near me at the lights and nearly ran off the road for a look - then shocked the sh_t outta himself when he saw it was a girls!!!!

well in the case that you dont have enough clearence what i did is got it welded at the hight i wanted and let it melt the bumper that way i got a more accurate cutting instead of getting a grinder, yeah a bodgy way but it comes out better
