Default Cortina MK 11 seeks help

Hi everyone ,just joined up and was hoping someone out there can assist with locating parts for a MK 11 cortina 2 door I have just picked up and about to restore / do up .Any ideas of where in SA parts can be sourced any help greatly apprectiated

welcome to aff. it depends on what sort of parts you are after. there are a large number of suppliers of all sorts of bits, with just about anything available from the UK. try

G'day mate, if your in Adelaide and looking for spare parts or need any mechanical services for your Cortina try the Pitstop Service Centre, 11 Mary St, Hindmarsh. they specialise in early 4 clynder ford's and are pretty helpful.

Didnt realize how few wreckers keep any older cars anymore !

The problem with older cars is that most people dont want to spend the money on keeoing them on the road. It is easier to buy a new Hyundai for $12k than it is to spend money on an old car that will have something else break down again next week. AS such, wreckers are going out of business. Shame really, poeople dont know what they are missing. I am hoping fo find a MK3 Tina GXL one day. I just love the shape.

Default mkII bits and pieces

Im from melbourn but know of a guy who has some nice bits like manifolds to suit and a d a mickey mouse crash pad and gauges for a GT various other stuff as well
